Please read the following terms and conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By accessing and/or using the muruguru website ("muruguru" or "this website") or services managed by Mind Wise Hong Kong Limited, you agree to be bound by these Terms. muruguru reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without giving further notice. By using this website or service after any such modification, you indicate your agreement to be bound by the updated Terms. It is recommended by muruguru that you review the latest version of these Terms each time you access and/or use this website or service.If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, please cease all use of the website and/or services immediately.

By using this website and/or service, you acknowledge and agree that you do so at your own risk and that your use is subject to these Terms as they exist at the time of each use. By accessing and/or using this website and/or service, you are not establishing any additional relationship between yourself and muruguru. Furthermore, muruguru has no obligation to initiate or maintain contact with you.



1. Joining muruguru:

How do I become a member of muruguru

You can register as a member by providing a valid email address.

In order to effectively manage your account, verify your identity, and provide you with services and promotional information as a member, it is vital that you provide muruguru with accurate, complete and up to date personal information, including your email address. Please note that failure to provide accurate information or providing inaccurate information may hinder muruguru’s ability to verify your identity, thus delaying the processing of your requests or provision of services. It may prevent you from receiving relevant information as well.

If you have any updates to your personal information, please ensure that you promptly update it on the website. This will allow you to continue receiving any news sent by muruguru.

Each person is limited to having a single member account at any given time, and it is required that your muruguru account is personally owned by you.

muruguru reserves the right to audit members' accounts to investigate whether they have complied with the terms, as well as any relevant laws, regulations, or terms and conditions, without prior notice. During the audit period, member accounts may be temporarily suspended, and members will be unable to log in or participate in any activities.

Deletion of Member Accounts

muruguru will reserve the right to terminate membership and deny access to current or future services thereof at its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.

Unless terminated as per the aforementioned terms or upon the member's explicit request for account deletion, the member account will remain active for the duration specified by muruguru. For instance, if a member's account remains inactive for an uninterrupted period of 2 years, muruguru reserves the right to terminate their account.

If you wish to delete your member account, kindly reach out to hello@muruguru.com.hk. Please be aware that upon account deletion, all data and benefits associated with the account will be permanently lost.

 


2. “Vet Appointment” - online service

muruguru offers the " Vet Appointment" service to cater to the needs of pet owners. This convenient online reservation system is specifically designed for non-emergency cases. In the event of an emergency, we recommend referring to the information provided for Night Veterinary Clinics by clicking or visiting the nearest veterinary hospital's emergency room to receive immediate medical assistance.

Appointment:

The appointment service is a collaborative effort between muruguru and affiliated veterinary clinics, with the veterinary services provided by the muruguru veterinary team. It is important to note that the veterinary team operates independently and is not directly employed by muruguru. The availability of individual veterinarians for appointments are subject to their schedules and preferences. Please understand that muruguru cannot guarantee the successful arrangement of veterinary appointments.

Booking Cost:

There are no charges associated with the “Vet Appointment” Online Service.

Medical Consultation:

As the pet owner, you are responsible for providing the clinic and/or veterinarian with all necessary medical documents and disclosing the pet's complete medical history.

Please be patient as the consultation time may vary for each pet based on their specific needs.

You are responsible for any expenses related to transportation, insurance, or other costs incurred during the medical consultation.

muruguru will not be held liable for any disputes arising from tardiness.

Additionally, muruguru has no responsibility for the performance of veterinarians and clinic staff, including their language, behaviour, pet examinations, prescribed medications, waiting times, and any associated legal liabilities.

Changes or Cancellations:

If you require changes to your appointment time, we kindly request that you provide advanced notice to the respective clinic/veterinary at least 2 working days prior to your scheduled appointment.

Inclement Weather Arrangements:

In the event of bad weather conditions, it may be necessary to adjust your appointment based on the arrangements made by the clinic and veterinarian. Please be aware that delays or changes may occur.



3. "Vet Q&A" Service

The "Vet Q&A" service provided by muruguru and its network of veterinarians offers online assistance for members to address their concerns related to pet health care. Before using the "Vet Q&A" service, please carefully read the relevant terms and conditions.

 The online veterinarians of muruguru are registered veterinarians in Hong Kong, and their responses in the "Vet Q&A" service represent their professional opinions. muruguru does not assume or share any responsibility or legal liability for the veterinarians' answers.

The relationship between the veterinarians answering member questions and the members does not constitute a doctor-patient or healthcare professional-patient relationship.

The "Vet Q&A" service is not suitable for cases that require immediate medical attention or emergency care at a hospital or clinic. In case of emergencies, it is strongly recommended to seek immediate medical assistance at the nearest clinic or hospital.

muruguru reserves the right to not publish/delete inappropriate questions.

Asking Questions

Members can ask questions related to pet health care after logging in, without a question limit. However, please do not repeat the same questions and muruguru may remove duplicates or unrelated questions without prior notice.

Members cannot specify veterinarians to answer their questions; the online veterinarian team will choose suitable questions to answer based on their specialized knowledge.

Gathering Support

After posting a question, members need to gain the support from at least 10 other members by sharing their inquiry. This process aids in expediting veterinarian responses to the relevant question.

Answering

Veterinarians will log in periodically to answer the members’ inquiries, and members can log in to check if their questions have been answered.

Search

Before posting a question, it is recommended that members search for keywords related to their inquiries, such as disease names, pet breeds, symptoms, etc., to see if similar questions have been asked before, providing a reference and resolving doubts more quickly.


Disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by relevant regulations and will be interpreted in accordance with Hong Kong laws.

muruguru reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.

muruguru retains the final decision-making authority in the event of any dispute.
